Filling up in Zim compared to SA

Both petrol and diesel prices have doubled, from R19 a litre to a whopping R45 a litre.

A South African Volkswagen Golf 7 TSI driver pays about R827 for a full tank, while it would cost a whopping R 2 700 to fill it up in Zimbabwe.
Kia Picanto drivers would also have to straddle up as it would cost R1 350 in Zimbabwe for a full tank but it is drastically less locally at R 413.
Audi A4 owners usually pay R 965 for a full tank in SA but it is a different story in Zimbabwe as they would have to pay R 3 150.
A full tank for a 2016 Ford Ranger T6 will cost R 1 103 in South Africa and it will cost R 3 600 in neighbouring Zimbabwe.
