Lifesavers enter Centrum Guardian 2013
Three George lifesavers have entered the 2013 Centrum Guardian Project.
This follows the fame of Wilderness NSRI’s Torsten Henschel who won the 2012-project.
The three lifesavers put their lives at risk last year on Sunday, 11 November.
Dorian Micheals (25), Una-Mari Crause (20) and Peter Miles Africa (17) saved four people from drowning at Victoria Bay.
Fire fighters, paramedics, volunteer rescue personnel, lifesavers and other emergency rescue services crew are encouraged to enter this prestigious competition to be chosen as winner of the most dramatic and daring rescue in 2012. The Centrum Guardian project rewards acts of courage and self-sacrifice demonstrated in rescue operations.
Nomination forms can be downloaded from www.centrumguardian.com and must be submitted before 3 April 2013.
