George Weight Loss Challenge, Week 5…
What a fantastic week for all the participants in the Weight Loss Challenge. Changing your lifestyle has never been easy, but if we look at each and every member of the Weight Loss Challenge we realize, it is for sure possible.
After five weeks of personal challenges the overall weight lost has reached a fantastic 217kg, with a total of 5 meters of centimeters lost. Congratulations to each and every person that has reached their goal this week and to those who still struggles, remember your efforts and hard work WILL pay off in the end. Never take your focus off your goal. All of us is on our own personal journey through life, some get there quicker than others, but in the end we all get there. Remember at the Weight Loss Challenge we are one big family on the way to a better us .
Tips for the week:
Reading food labels is an art and skill. Be sure you understand what the serving size means and keep an eye on nutritional facts so you know how many calories you’re consuming.
Reward yourself after this week’s hard work by buying yourself that special top, dress or pants that you have been looking at for so long, but buy it 2 sizes smaller than what you are at this stage. Hang it somewhere you can see it every second of the day to remind you that that is your next goal…to get in that stunning outfit. Every time you want to eat something wrong or that moment that you just feel you want to give up…look at that stunning outfit and say to yourself…That is my goal and I will get there.
Get rid of your baggage (weight). All of us have been carrying some or other baggage (weight) with us our whole life, but here at the Weight Loss Challenge we say NO to baggage (weight)! Do yourself a favour and take a bag fill it with sand equal the amount of weight you have lost over these past 5 weeks and put it somewhere you can see it regularly. On the days that you feel you cannot do this anymore or life’s pressure of food rest heavily on your shoulders, walk over to this bag, look at it, pick it up, put it down and realise that that is what you have lost so far…don’t look back on what was but focus on what is coming, cause you have the strength and courage to pull this through and become a new, improved YOU.
Quote of the week:
Life is not about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain
