Entries are Open for the 2023 Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series!
Entries are officially open for South Africa’s award-winning road running series, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series, that will see a mass participation 10km road race hosted in five iconic cities in 2023: Gqeberha (Sunday 02 April), Cape Town (Sunday 14 May), Durban (Sunday 09 July), Tshwane (Sunday 27 August) and Johannesburg (Sunday 24 September).
A diverse road running series, the RUN YOUR CITY Series integrates businesses, families, investment in the community, world-class achievement, and fun for all participants. Placing each host city on a pedestal, iconic landmarks form the foundation of a magnificent route experience that also boasts a feel-good vibe compliments of the city’s leading performing arts groups, refreshments, exciting sponsor activations and enthusiastic support along the way.

“Although renowned for its elite racing element where SA’s elite runners get to race against the world’s best on home soil, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series is also a mass participation series that grants all entrants the unique opportunity to explore their city on foot.
To date, the series has been exceptionally well received in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. For this reason, we are proud to grow the series in 2023 with the introduction of Gqeberha and Tshwane as host cities.”
