NMMU volunteers show they care
More than eighty NMMU students and staff members again demonstrated their sense of Ubuntu when they provided a variety of services in support of participants in the 11th Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge in George. This included assisting with arrangements and lending a hand to learners who participated in the wheelchair games at the Garden Route Mall on the afternoon prior to the official race.

“NMMU is privileged to be part of such an outstanding event in George. We would like to thank the organisers for giving the university this opportunity and look forward to continuing this tradition”, says Alet van Tonder, NMMU George Marketing and Corporate Relations Manager.
