Sandton Convention Centre, Sandown, JohannesburgThe Sandton Convention Centre is South Africa’s largest event, exhibition and meeting space, beautifully designed to convey the mood of Africa. The earthy, uncluttered, finish is complemented by over 100 original artworks of well-known South African artists and provides an overview of contemporary Southern African art and traditional craft.

The twelve-story structure offers over 22 000 m² of convention, exhibition and special event space. The Pavilion can seat 4 500 patrons. The Ballroom can seat 2 000 banquet guests and the 13 other meeting rooms can accommodate up to 350 delegates. The two exhibition levels have a combined floor space of 11 000 m². Multiple events can be staged simultaneously on four levels and up to 10 000 visitors can be accommodated at any one time. The security system is such that the building can be evacuated in a matter of minutes, should the alarm system go off. There are 11 000 secure parking bays.
