Buccaneers Backpackers steals blog’s #2 position

29-year-old journalist and intrepid traveller Janet writes an adventure travel blog which follows her escapades around the world.

After 5 weeks backpacking around South Africa, Janet compiled a list of the top 9 Best Backpacker Hostels in the country and, not surprisingly, our own Buccaneers Backpackers comes out right near the top of the list, stealing the number two position.

Upon arrival at Buccaneers, Janet couldn’t keep her delight to herself when showed her dorm room… “You’ve got to be kidding me!” she exclaimed when she saw the magnificent view!

“It was the best view from a hostel dormitory that I have ever seen and remains one of my top hostels in the world… Buccaneers is a bit different from all the other hostels in that it is more like an all-inclusive resort than a simple hostel. They organize daily activities for guests… and they offer free boxed wine to everyone at 4pm every day to try and get solo travellers mingling with everyone else!”
