For children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, the wonder of childhood is often lost in the emotional, physical and financial strain of dealing with their illness. 

Reach For A Dream fulfills the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, blood disorders, cystic fibrosis, kidney failure to name but a few.

Get Involved! Here are a few ways that you can get involved with our initiatives and bring some hope to those who need it most.

Give Us Your Time

We are always in need of additional volunteers who can help us to deliver dreams and assess children’s dreams.  In addition, we need help with our projects and outings including Queen for a Day, Captain Courage and Camp Sunshine.

Fundraising

You can also help us with our fundraising events and by spreading the word about our organization, or you could even organize a fundraising event where Reach For A Dream is the beneficiary.          

In-Kind Support

We are always in need of ‘in-kind’ support from businesses and organization’s to help us make dreams happen i.e. you may own a beauty parlour and can make some of the girls feel special for a day, or maybe your business offers goods and services that can assist us such as entertainment, accommodation or even toys.

We are always in need of funds in order to fulfill our pending Dreams. This list grows daily as more children are referred to us and dreams are fulfilled.  This list is only available on request due to the sensitive information that it contains.
