Buffalo City to host 2 Women’s International Cricket Matches

Buffalo Park in East London will host two thrilling women’s international cricket matches between the Proteas Women and the touring Australian Women’s Cricket Team in March. This is in addition to the SA vs England T20I, scheduled to take place in East London on 12 February.

The two East London women’s matches form part of Australia’s three-week 2020 tour of South Africa.

The two teams will first square off in a Women’s One-Day International on Saturday, 28 March.

Then, on Tuesday, 31 March, they clash in a Women’s T20 International at the same venue.

“We’ve seen some thrilling performances recently from our national team,” says Cricket South Africa‘s High Performance Manager Vincent Barnes. “The Australia tour will be another opportunity for them to impress in South African conditions against elite opposition.”

The Australian Women’s Tour will consist of three ODIs and three T20 matches.
