I have seen folds turn within tunnels, I have been touched by the silken blue sky as countless artists weave their grace before my very eyes. They are a harmony of winds, as if each breath of tiny life is reaching out to my own spirit. Wings of divine dunes dance in myriads of haze and I see wonders that hold me speechless. Each one spins a harmonious web as if controlled by natures built-in chip. I see grace and I am humbled, for I know that I am nothing in comparison. We are nothing because we dance alone, but not so the Starling… unity is the very life of these birds, and it is so wonderful to feel them stirring my heart and soul in deep awe for them.

These flocks of Starlings were filmed in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in January last year. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
