The Jan Smuts Stadium – East London
The Jan Smuts Stadium is an athletics and football stadium, named in honour of Jan Smuts and is situated in the suburb of Arcadia in East London, Eastern Cape.
This sporting venue is host to many local athletics events and is also popular for school sporting events.

The Jan Smuts Stadium is also home to East London football and has been used as the home venue for teams such as Blackburn Rovers FC, Bush Bucks, FC Buffalo, OR Thambo DC and Tornado during the Vodacom league. It is also popular for school soccer tournaments.

The venue is also used for local events including concerts and fundraisers, and is a fantastic venue for hosting these large local events.

One of East London’s most moving annual events, the CANSA Relay for Life happens at the Jan Smuts Stadium in March of each year. This event receives huge local support and raises much needed funds for CANSA.
