So East London… what are your plans for the lockdown?

Now that Coronavirus Covid-19 lockdown has arrived, what are East Londoners planning on doing during this period?  With all the bad news going on around us, it is important for moral that we find fun and interesting things to do to prevent us from sliding into a communal depressive state.

Many will be lucky enough to be able to work from home… and I say lucky, because this means a semi-normal existence, just a bit of a change in geography.  For others however, after the first 24 hour ‘holiday’ mode is over, we may find that the walls start closing in… and those we love… might become a bit ‘annoying’ to say the least!

Luckily South African’s are quick to adapt to change so I have no doubt, we will start seeing many ingenious mimes and video’s about how South African’s spend their time under lockdown.  We at ShowMe East London would love to receive some of your lockdown highlights so that we can share them with the rest of East London.  We would also like some idea’s on things we can do to help others during this period… and after… when the tole on our economy bites hard.
