‘Madisons Market Cafe’ – a stunning retail & cafe experience
The bustling little hub at the top of Epsom Road Stirling, has just received a big boost with the addition of the delightful Madisons Market Cafe.
This authentic local ‘indoor market and cafe’ is home to some of East London’s top local fashion brands, namely The Red Tulip, The Closet, Lewens Essens and Bikinis & Palm Trees.
Brainchild and passion project of owner Tarryn Petzer, Madisons Market Cafe is named after her beautiful daughter Madison who is her inspiration for everything. The dream became a reality when Tarryn fought and won her battle with cancer, resulting in her decision to take a leap of faith and follow her dreams. Lucky for us, those dreams came in the form of this beautiful indoor market retail space and charming cafe.
It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.
So what can you expect to find at Madisons, I hear you ask? Well you will be surprised just how much they have on offer. A wide range of beautifully made, one of a kind fashion items; mix and match bikini’s (buy tops and bottoms separate); shoes & sandals, gorgeous beach totes, colourful sundresses and beachwear, sarongs, scarves, accessories and wraps… and that is before you even start looking.
Scattered amongst the clothing displays, you will find beautifully made home decor, harking back to nostalgic yesteryear. From baskets, crochet’s pillows, black and white framed photos … to… if I am not completely off my head, an old milking pail? There is so much to see so make sure you have some time, and some cash because you are going to want to buy.
Sunshine on roses
And woodframes on kittens
Shiny red tin mugs and cool summer slip-ons
Wooden sunglasses and throws laced with strings
These are a few of Madisons things

Coffee! Did I hear you say Coffee? Well fear not, this is not only an indoor market, it also boasts a beautiful and charming cafe, ready to come to the rescue of even the most ardent of shoppers. Offering breakfasts, brunch and lunch, there is plenty to keep you going all day.
I had the pie, chips and salad which was great… and the salad was exceptional. I tried to get the salad dressing recipe, but being the good business woman she is, Tarryn is keeping that one close to her chest, and so she should. I recommended she bottle and sell it at the market – that is how good it is.
The food is fresh, portion sizes good… and the dessert was tempting, but there was just no space left after 2 cappuccino’s and lunch. They offer a small but well thought out menu, at very reasonable prices, with something for all members of the family. The seating is limited so grab a table when one comes available… and if there are no seats available, browse through the market until one does, shame, we know… what a hardship!
The market also sells fresh roses, bottled pickles, pies and pastries, mouth watering goodies that can be purchased and taken home or even given as a gift.
Tarryn clearly has an eye for beautiful things and a head for business. Madisons Market Cafe is really a unique and charming destination and the beautiful items, attention to detail and charming atmosphere that has been created here will undoubtedly draw you back time and time again.
