Hudson’s Nathan Ward receives Honours for Waterpolo
Nathan has consistently been one of the best players in the Hudson Park 1st water polo team since he was first included in the team in 2013 in his Grade 9 year.
Over the years he has maintained a great work ethic in the pool and has always worked at improving his game. Nathan has been selected to represent Border in each age group from U14. In 2014, while in Grade 10, he was selected for the Provincial U18 team to participate at the Currie Cup Men’s and Ladies tournament, one of the longest standing Provincial Tournaments in South Africa. In 2015, at the National Co-ed Water Polo Tournament, Nathan was selected as part of a 15-man Tournament team from the 16 competing schools. Later that year he went on to compete at the annual South African Cchools’ Tournament with the Border U19A team.
His latest achievements include being named as a member of the team at the St Andrews Shield tournament, as well as being invited to attend various South African U18 training camps.
Hudson Park has pleasure in awarding Nathan Ward Honours for Water polo – a well-deserved achievement.
