C.R.E.W. (Career Readiness Workshop) at ELMI College
With another year past since the last ELMI College C.R.E.W (Career Readiness Workshop) programme, the ELMI College in the interests of career selection and development, provided valuable technical skills to learners and in so doing, exposed them to in-depth aspects of their chosen career. ELMI College believes that an essential aspect of making a career choice is understanding what that career entails – what better way to do this than to learn some of the skills of that career and confirm your aspirations before committing to a long and expensive study route.
Potential Graphic Design students are exposed to a workshop focused on developing Photoshop expertise, an integral aspect of Graphic Design. Potential Technical IT students are exposed to an intensive workshop focused on wireless networks and network security, a core skill set of a Microsoft Solutions Expert. Potential professional hairdressers are exposed to aspects of hair and make-up as well as the operations of the hair academy as they seek to confirm their interest field. Learners requiring essential computer user skills are put through their paces as they elevate their Microsoft Office skills preparing them for tertiary studies.
To those students that attended the CREW programme, we hope that you all enjoyed this extraordinary workshop and that you enjoy the rest of the holidays. We at the ELMI College wish you all the best for the rest of the year and we hope to see you all being the best you can be next year and that you visit us again.
