67 Blankets for Mandela Day
Crowds of people turned up a Vincent Park on Mandela Day and the following day with their knitting needles and wool to take part in 67 Blankets, a pledge to each knit a blanket in the name of our beloved Madiba. All blankets are distributed to those less fortunate around South Africa… a wonderful initiative for Mandela Day.
