The Harley’s are Back – Africa Bike Week 2018 – East London
Welcome to Africa Bike Week 2018
This weekend sees the ‘Return of the Harley’s’ and East London and all who live here welcome our guests from near and far. As usual, ShowMe East London has put together an A – Z highlighting the events and entertainment that will be taking place as well as giving all visitors our ‘Bikers Guide to East London’.
The Entertainment
ABW has put together a stunning entertainment line-up with top well known local muso’s from Jack Parow to Hellcats and everything inbetween. Entrance to the ‘main stage area’ is FREE for those who have pre-registered.
The Program
Here is a detailed program of Africa Bike Week. The public has free access to the Village Market and Food stalls throughout the weekend. Those who have pre-registered get FREE access into the Main Stage Events area. Those who have not pre-registered will need to pay an entrance fee, based on ticket availability.

Road Closure: Africa Bike Week
The following roads will be closed to all vehicles except motorcycles from 06h00 on Thursday 2018 to 18h00 on Sunday, 29 April 2018 for Africa Bike Week:
- Longfellow Street at Marine Terrace
- Longfellow Street at Esplanade
- Moore Street t Marine Terrace
- Buffalo Park Drive at John Bailie
- Link Road at Marina Glen (Motor Cycle access only)
- Moore Street at Fitzpatrick Road
- John Bailie at Tram Track Road (Access for Buccaneers Patrons only)
