The Playhouse
The Playhouse as it’s known today is home to The Playhouse Company. Here you will enjoy live shows, whether it be comedy, opera, ballet, plays, or live musical performances.
The Tudor-styled Playhouse originally opened in 1935 and in the 1980s this historical landmark was restored and is still in use today.
Find The Playhouse opposite the Durban City Hall, at 231 Anton Lembede Street (formerly Smith Street) in Durban central.
