Live on the wild side at The Natal Zoological Gardens
This zoo has gardens full of cycads where you can sit and enjoy a picnic with your family. There are many wild animals, not all from our area, so this is one of the few opportunities you will have to see these live animals.

Directions
To get there, head towards Pietermaritzburg on the N3; take exit 65 – Lion Park / Zoo / R103 / Lynnfield Park. At the T-junction turn right. Keep going, at the end of the road you’ll find the Lion Park on your right and the Natal Zoological Gardens on your left.
