GANGS OF BALLET JOIN BALLITO FOR A FUN FAMILY DAY OUT!
MARRIOTT BALLITO BEATS
Sugar Rush Park, Ballito 20t,h May, 1st of July, 25th of August 2018
Clear blue skies, a warm breeze and great family entertainment were the order of the day this Sunday at the Marriott Ballito Beats music concert. GANGS OF BALLET and Albert Frost entertained hundreds of local Ballito fans at the Sugar Rush Park in Ballito on a typically perfect North Coast Sunday afternoon.
Opening act Albert Frost had the crowd mesmerized with his legendary guitar licks and blues melodies; the perfect start to a lazy Sunday afternoon chill-out session. Fans sat back and relaxed to the great music while kids frolicked on the banks, rode the Sugar Rush train and entertained themselves in the supervised Kid Zone. Albert finished off his set with some seriously up-tempo melodies, warming the crowd for the next act to follow.
GANGS OF BALLET took to the stage shortly after 3pm and got the crowd energized with their heartfelt songs and uniquely crafted sounds. The band loves performing to a Ballito crowd.“Sugar Rush is one of our favourite places to play because home is where our hearts are,” says lead singer Brad Klynsmith. “This place is ALL the vibe!
With Ballito’s booming community of over 40 000 people, and growing, the Marriott Ballito Beats Music Series aims tooffer a social and fun experiential offering for Ballito’s locals, delivering on its promise to all locals looking for family entertainment right in their very own back yard.
The next two shows promise even more for Ballito locals with Mango Groove returning to the series on the 1st of July for a much-anticipated second show. And after such a successful Friday night event with Jeremy Loops earlier this year, Impi Concept Events has made a strategic decision to shift the Matthew Mole show from Sunday afternoon to Friday the 25th of August.
“The great thing about Ballito, is that there’s a need for both of the type of shows that the Ballito Beats music series now offers”says Stu Berry, Series Director. “There’s something for everyone at our Sunday afternoon shows, where locals come to relax and hang out with family and friends. Then the Friday night shows now offer something fresh for fans. It’s festive, it’s social and parents can bring their kids for a night out that is safe, entertaining and filled with good vibes and great music.”
Tickets are available from www.webtickets.co.za and fans are encouraged to book now to avoid disappointment, as was experienced by so many for the Jeremy Loops sold out show.
