Synchronized swimming
To many of us Synchronized Swimming is an unknown watersport…
Synchronized Swimming is a brilliant mix of dance and gymnastics performed in the water by swimmers. Swimmers can either compete in solos, duets, trios, or even in teams. The competitors perform a synchronized routine with elaborate moves, accompanied by music. Synchronized Swimming demands advanced skills such as strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, artistry and precise timing, as well as exceptional breath control when performing moves upside down underwater.
Synchronized Swimming is judged on technical merit as well as artistic impressions, that is choreography, interpretation of the music, presentation and creativity of the individual or group.
