Mitchell Park
Description
Stroll through the gardens of Mitchell Park and you’ll be amazed at the floral display throughout the year. These gardens, picnic sites, spacious lawn and children’s playground is well maintained and a local favourite for family outings. There is a mini zoo and aviary with small animals and a large variety of bird species; you will find raccoons, cranes, flamingoes, wallabies, monkeys and tortoises here. There is a teagarden, nestled among trees and flowerbeds, where you can sit back and enjoy the view. A playground for physically challenged children ensures that everybody has fun.
