Jameson Park
Description
Jameson Park – also known as Robert Jameson Park – is across the road from Mitchell Park. Dogs are welcome in this rose garden and lawns. Visit the park during September to see exquisite blooms.
Directions
Driving along the N3 towards Durban, just before you reach the city, take exit 2 – M13 / Berea Road / Berea. Drive down the hill and turn left into Botanic Gardens Road, you will see a sign M8 / Morningside. After a while you will notice the Durban Botanic Gardens on your right, keep driving. Turn left into Springfield Road, the signboard indicates M17 / Berea. Finally turn right into Musgrave Road. You will notice Jameson Park on your left, on the corner of Montpelier Road, just before you get to Mitchell Park. The best parking to visit this Park is along Musgrave Road and not Montpelier Road.
