Sweat and Grit with BOOTCAMP
Experts suggest training outdoors could constitute a caloric burn increase of up to 25%. The Bootcamp format uses the group dynamic to further push contenders that little bit harder, that little bit further in a series of functional exercise moves reminiscent of an elite training squad. Exercises include cardio and strength based workouts as well as core stability strength work, flexibility, propreoception and endurance.
Bootcamp classes are regularly held at Umhlali Preparatory School, Salt Rock Main Beach, Salt Rock Country Club and Ashton International College in Ballito.

Ballito resident celebrity Patricia Lewis loved her Zumba Dance Fitness classes so much she created her own Dance DVD “Va Va Voooma” to promote her latest music release. Lewis, who lost 10 kg in a health and fitness regime claims the Fun Factor of Dance was an important part of the journey for her, “I have so much fun dancing to the music, I don’t realize how much WORK I’m actually doing in the class.”

Breath Workout with Yoga
The ancient form of Yoga has been used to quieten the mind and create an inner sense of balance and equilibrium for centuries. The series of postures (Asana’s) work inwardly as well as outwardly, certain postures fortifying internal organs or allowing ‘flow’ as needed.
