GARETH CLIFF TALKS TO LOCAL ENTRERENEURS
BUMPER TURNOUT AT DURBAN ENTREPRENEURS CLUB TO LISTEN TO GARETH CLIFF.
The October Durban Entrepreneurs Club (DEC) function that was held at the Durban Country Club saw over two hundred members and guests coming together to listen to popular media personality Gareth Cliff talk about his journey of over almost two decades in radio, leading up to starting his Pod Cast, Cliff Central.
Gareth said that the wonderful thing about creating content in South Africa is that we have the ability to do things that one is not able to do in a complacent society. He also said that Africa has the largest unsaturated market of young consumers in the world – most whom will become entrepreneurs. He stressed that we needed to support them. “I implore you to leave your doors (figuratively speaking) open and you will meet some of the most incredibly gifted young people.”
Founder of the DEC, Grant Gavin thanked Famous Publishing’s Doody Adams and Greg Arde for sponsoring the event. He reiterated the importance of building one’s own personal brand, network and intentionally growing one’s own space to his audience.
The speakers at the next DEC meeting, 16th November, which is a members only event, will be Style Me’s Daniyel Berry and Entrepreneur, Paul Jason.
