Love Africa – Love Life by Sharon Scott
Durban is beautiful, cultural, colourful and constantly changing. That’s why I like to be up long before the sunrise on most weekends to capture those moments that are so often missed in our busy everyday life.
My passion for photography has developed over the last few years and on most weekends you will find me out and about somewhere in Durban with my camera over my shoulder.
For me, the wonder of photography is that it can catch a moment in time that would otherwise be fleeting and easily forgotten.
Photography is not only about taking the shots and viewing them. It’s about sharing those special moments, the ones that take your breath away, with others. It’s about giving that same sense of pleasure to those who view the photos.
I am lucky to live a few minutes away from the beaches, so most of my photos are taken around the ocean, the beaches and the Durban harbour.
I do however love to travel as often as I can and to explore the other regions of Africa that hold their own special essence of beauty and diversity.
