Hiking Along Chapmans Peak
Start
The starting point for this hike is situated just before the toll booths, entering the Chapman’s Peak drive. It is advised that you park your car a short distance behind the toll booth, which makes for easy access to the hike.
End
Complete the trail and return to the starting point. If you approach it this way, you will be conveniently close to the spot where you parked.
Duration
Taking this hike at a leisurely pace, can take the casual hiker anywhere up to 2 hours. Active hikers can easily breeze through this trail in little over an hour.
Permit
No permits are required, but you are obligated to obtain a day pass from the toll booth for safe parking and admission to the hiking trails. This costs approximately R24.00 per person.

Please Note
This hike is at its very best during the summer season, at the end of the day towards sunset.
