Cape Town Beaches & Beach Holiday Spots
Cape Town Beaches & Beach Holiday Spots. Cape Town has so many beaches the whole city of Cape Town could legitimately be called a ‘Beach Holiday Spot’. Cape Town also has a reputation for freezing cold water however, and certain beaches, such as Clifton and Camps Bay, are places to be seen in your bikini or ‘hanging out with the in crowd’ rather where you’d risk actually getting in the freezing water. There are nudist beaches, long beaches, short beaches, beaches for surfing, beaches with sharks, beaches with penguins, Blue Flag beaches with facilities and others with incredible views and famous features…one thing they all have in common is that they are clean, white and sandy and the water quality is excellent!
Luckily for Cape Town, warmer water can be found on the Eastern side of Cape Point, with water temperatures reaching into the 20’s in the summer months.
