Getting to The World of Birds in Hout Bay.
Hout Bay (An old fishing Village) can be reached either along the scenic routes of the Coastal Drive via Camps Bay and Llandudno or via Kirstenbosch and Constantia. It is also a great stop on the way to Cape Point Nature Reserve via the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive. If you take the Blue Route Cape Town sightseeing (open topped) bus tour, The World of Birds is one of the stops where you can hop off and hop back on again after your bird watching trip.
Because the birds are used to human activity you will find that you are able to get close up to birds you would normally not see so easily in the wild.
