The Dream Begins in Athlone
We inspire, uplift, mentor and help the unemployed in any way we can. Many obtain work through us, others go off and find their own work, using the tools we share with them of personal belief and “stick to it” ness!
Our Projects
Every day we are sending people out into work opportunities.
Every 2nd Friday we run a worker readiness programme for the unemployed, to give people hope and inspiration again.
Our Link of Love Programme works as follows; we get businesses or the public to buy vouchers at R100. This entitles people to a day of work in their own community.
They tend the sick and elderly, clean their homes. They work in the schools and pay off their school fees, plus give much needed help at schools. These programmes are currently being run in Hanover Park, Gugulethu and Delft.

Why Support Us
There are only 3 problems facing South Africa – unemployment, unemployment, unemployment. When people are unemployed, they become despondent and feel useless. From that, all manner of social ills ensue. People need to contribute, through ANY work, even in their own communities. We are passionate about getting South Africa working!
Give us Your Time
How can someone help by giving their time?
Interviewing the unemployed takes some training. People who are skilled at counselling could give of their time.
Fundraising for us ie selling days of work for the unemployed via their own personal networks of friends and associates would be hugely beneficial.
Our Wish List
- A DVD player for our reception so we can play inspirational DVD’s while people wait to be interviewed
- A projector screen for our Worker Readiness programmes
- A digital camera for our office to use to photograph/do stories for our newsletters
