Where Rainbows Meet Training and Development Foundation

Our mission is to create a better future for the community

Mymoena Scholtz set up Where Rainbows Meet in 2008 in an old car nicknamed “Titanic”. Today, this Training And Development Foundation has grown considerably, and still aims to achieve social and economic improvement within the various community.

Our mission is to create a better future for the community within, and surrounding areas. This goal is only manageable when all of the disadvantaged groups in the community work together in a mutually supportive environment, to achieve social and economic success within the community.

We aim to equip all of our students (children, youth, women, employed, unemployed and all other disadvantaged members of the communities) with skills and knowledge they need to improve their future.

Our mission is to create a better future for the community within, and surrounding areas.

Our Team

Our team consists of professionals, national volunteers and international volunteers. Where Rainbows Meet aims to improve the chances of people from the community and therefore offers people from the community the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within the organisation.

We are very grateful that these people are willing to give their time and energy to the organisation for a long time, earning food, chances to develop themselves and a small stipend.

Our Executive Committee includes:

  • Mrs. Mymoena Scholtz, ( Chairperson)
  • Ms. Abigail Klaasen,     (Assistant Chairperson)
  • Michael Mjonono        (Head of administration)
  • Ms. Iris Gutterding,      (Treasurer/Account Manager)
  • Mrs Heather Scott       (Parent Liason office)
  • Mrs Anna Fente          (Community Liason)
  • Mr Anwar Scholtz        (Ex-officio)

There is currently a dire need for development and support in our community
