Weather Update: Light snowfalls expected for Western Cape
Most of the country is expected to experience cool to cold weather as a cold front hits land and passes over the country on Tuesday.
Warnings
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the north-western interior of KwaZulu-Natal, the north-eastern Free State as well as in places over Mpumalanga.
Gale force south-westerly winds (60-70km) are expected along the coast between Oyster Bay and Algoa Bay in the morning.
Watches
Localised flooding is expected between Cape St Francis and Oyster Bay in the afternoon and evening.
Special weather advisories
Light snowfalls are expected over the western mountains of the Western Cape spreading to the western mountains of the Eastern Cape overnight on Monday into the morning.
