Tiny toad’s big adventure: From Franschhoek to Table View
UrbanWild Conservation, a Cape Town-based wildlife rehabilitation facility, recently shared a heartwarming story on their Instagram page about an unusual rescue involving a tiny Raucous toad, Cape {town} Etc reports.
The toad had unwittingly travelled from Franschhoek to Table View, tucked away inside someone’s backpack.
The individual who discovered the toad reached out to UrbanWild Conservation, asking whether it would be safe to release the amphibian into Rietvlei Nature Reserve.
