Sustainable fashion brand Sage & Sunday, based in Cape Town, has launched a programme that adopts a tree for purchase.
Being a company that operates on the provision of clothing that is ethically made and that supports sustainable certification relative to an ecosystem, the brand is involved in an undertaking that will ensure that trees are planted from the southern part of Africa with a view of restocking the ecosystems that have been affected negatively.
For its part, the tree-planting campaign at Sage & Sunday will deal with deforestation and revive indigenous trees in the area. The company has been able to collaborate with a local reforestation agency so that each tree planted creates a measurable positive change in the environment and for people dependent on it.
