Sun’s out, bikes out: Expect road closures for Cape Town…
In its 47th year, the iconic Cape Town Cycle Tour remains a standout event on the Mother City’s events calendar, drawing approximately 30 000 riders each year.
Beyond the thrill of the ride, the highly-anticipated annual event serves a greater purpose by supporting two key causes – the Pedal Power Association and the Rotary Club of Claremont.
Funds raised go towards social upliftment projects and promoting cycling and safety initiatives.
The 109km classic route, renowned as one of the world’s most scenic mass-start bike races, winds through the city’s picturesque landscapes, starting at Table Mountain and concluding along the Atlantic Seaboard in Green Point.
