Scooter rally collects food for women and children
The NPO, My Father’s House, is happy to announce that Simon’s Town Scooters is holding a scooter rally against women and child abuse to assist the organisation.
The aim of the rally is to collect foodstuffs to raise awareness and bolster the food and fundraising efforts of My Father’s House, as the organisation continues its important work of feeding local communities in the Southern Peninsula during these trying times of COVID-19.
The rally will take place on 9 August 2020. Registration is at 9 am from the Simon’s Town Country Club and the entrance fee is a donation of non-perishable food items which will go to the NPO. (Parking is available at Jubilee Square and the Yacht Club.)
