The Rhinos Are Coming Grand Rhino Tour
The Grand Rhino Tour of ten beautifully decorated rhino sculptures that will tour Cape Town and surrounds from February through March 2017 if they reach their Thundafund tipping point of R250,000. They will ride through the streets of Cape Town, they attend events at famous wine estates & interview celebrities etc to spread awareness of the program, generate interest from businesses, corporations and individuals to sponsor Rhinos sculptures, and most importantly raise awareness about the plight of our rhinos.
The sponsorship aim is to bring a ‘crash’ of colourful, life-size sculpted rhinos to grace the urban savannahs of South Africa in the summer of 2017. Cape Town and surrounds would become an outdoor museum for the rhinos where all of the rhinos could be seen by the public, free of charge. At the end of the exhibition in early 2018, the rhino sculptures will go under the hammer at a charity auction and 100% of the proceeds will go direct to StopRhinoPoaching.com where they will be channelled to key rhino reserves to help secure a safer future for our rhinos in the wild. The trick to generating as much proceeds as possible for StopRhinoPoaching.com is to create stunning rhino sculptures that will raise lots of money at auction.
The rhinos are coming (TRAC) are urging businesses and individuals to back The Rhinos Are Coming Thundafund Campaign (www.thundafund.com/project/TRAC) and help raise funds to fight against rhino poaching so that this can all happen.
