Khayelitsha youth provided with animal care education
The Mdzananda Animal Clinic in Khayelitsha is making headway in educating the youth about animal care.
The clinic has collaborated with several community schools and together they’ve implemented animal care lessons into life skills classes.
Ultimately, they aim to continue the classes on a yearly basis.
In the 2024 year, 780 children have been able to partake in these lessons, which cover topics such as animal health care, behaviour, feeding, exercise and compassion.
