Cape Town International Airport surpasses 10 million passengers mark
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) this week revealed that Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) has achieved a ground-breaking milestone by processing more than 10 million passengers over a single financial year.
This is the highest number of regional and international passengers processed since COVID-19.
According to ACSA’s Cluster 2 Regional General Manager, Mark Maclean, the organisation recorded a steady increase in passenger volumes this year that has consistently surpassed historic passenger volumes.
CTIA achieved this record during the 2023/24 financial year, hitting the 10 million mark by processing over 320 000 passengers in March this year alone – a whopping monthly figure that exceeded projections.
