Animal clinic in Khayelitsha does everything to support animals in lockdown
Like most organisations, the Mdzananda Animal Clinic felt the pinch of lockdown as their funding dried up.
They pushed through and made do with what they had. Being in the middle of Khayelitsha, they saw the poverty rise and did everything they could to support the animals and their families.
They kept their doors open to ensure that all animals got enough food and medical care. Thankfully, a donation from MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet lent a helping hand during the toughest times.
Now that the bulk of the worry is over, people are heading back to work, and life appears to be going back to a new kind of normal. The animal clinic needs to pick up where they were before they lost all their funding. They are opening their Paw Members Club again in the hopes that those who can afford to will support the brilliant work they do.
