After missing her matric dance, hospital throws one for this young lady
The matric dance is a right of passage for every high schooler. Sadly, sometimes it is missed by a student or two due to unforeseen circumstances.
Larisca was one of those students this year. She was admitted to hospital for her cystic fibrosis and missed her dance.
Cystic fibrosis is a hereditary disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. The body produces thick and sticky mucus that can clog the lungs and obstruct the pancreas. Cystic fibrosis (CF) can be life-threatening, and people with the condition tend to have a shorter-than-normal life span.
