Well-established South African artists like William Kentridge, Norman Catherine, Noria Mabasa, Willie Bester, Esther Mahlangu, Paul du Toit and new talent like Matthew Hindley, Peter Eastman and Asha Zero are synonym to 34 Fine Art and are often combined with other international artists.
Works by Marlene Dumas and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami are also among the artists with work displayed, attracting serious art collectors from around the world. Yet with some of South Africa’s leading artists, one can only expect to be inspired and enlightened while discovering new contemporary art at 34 Fine Art; one of Cape Town’s most prominent artistic platforms.
Another very popular art gallery in Woodstock is the Lovell Gallery curated by Tamzin Miller who ensures that all of the best exhibitions come her way. It also has a function venue upstairs which has seen the likes of Jack mantis, Arno Carstens and Mike from Mike and the Mechanics collaborating on the little stage a bout the gallery.
