SHIZA iKAPA (The Heat of Cape Town) EXTENDS ITS RUN DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND

After 3 months of delighting audiences and critics alike, The Theatre @ The Rockwell is proud to announce that Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd and the talented cast of Shiza iKapa (The heat of Cape Town) are extending their run through the Summer season.

“We’ve been running for 3 months and the vibe’s getting better and better!” says Ramaine.

Right now it ‘s cold in Cape Town, but this is Shiza iKapa (The Heat of Cape Town) – so we’re bringing the heat!

This is so much more than your average “dinner and a show” night out. When you join Marcia and the colourful characters at Marcia’s Tonic Tavern – you’re in for a foot-stomping, soul-grooving interactive song, dance and dining experience!

And judging by the enthusiastic feedback on social media (and the almost licked clean plates!), audiences are loving the communal 3 -course meal that is served during the show. The menu changes regularly and features local, authentic and delicious tastes of the Cape that are by all accounts, going down a treat!

Friday night audiences have the option of ordering from our delicious Platter Menu of tempting appetisers, light bites and burgers.

The South African song-list includes some beloved favourites which always get the audience grooving and singing along.
