Cape Town Comedy Club
Previously known as the catchy “Jou Ma Se Comedy Club” this is the place to catch comedy in Cape Town. Located at the V&A Waterfront’s Pumphouse, the club has been around in one form or another since 2005.
Founded by comedian Kurt Schoonraad, the club hosts local and international comedians weekly from Wednesday to Sunday. It has become a much loved venue for comedians who enjoy performing there.
Says Riaad Moosa: “One of the most fun and comedy savvy rooms in the country.”
Comedian Stuart Taylor agrees: “Easily the best comedy room in the country right now.”
The club is currently offering a special price of R60 per person on Sundays. The cost is usually R95 during the week or R120 over the weekend. Make a night of it by staying at a hotel in Cape Town and exploring some of the nightlife the city has to offer.
