Shwish New Look at Schwish Hair and Make-up Ballito
The Make-up artist to have launched Miss World and Miss South Africa contestants onto the stage, Roz Faber, has now launched her first studio to be open to the public at Simbithi Office Park. A high tea to launch the studio included many more high notes…
Roz Faber is well known in the world of high fashion, high glamour and celebrity appearances. As a freelance make-up artist she has worked on both the Miss World and Miss South Africa pageants, numerous fashion shoots, twelve films, numerous commercials and television series. Now, for the first time, Faber has launched her own exclusive Hair and Make-Up Studio at the new Simbithi Office Park. Schwish promises to be just that.
Hosting ladies at a High Tea event, the afternoon offered workshops and treats geared for ladies: the latest in swimwear designs to compliment your unique body shape with Sarah Elizabeth Lingerie, pamper massage from Simbiosis The Spa at Simbithi, Alcholic Ice Cream treats from Lix and of course, the keynote workshop from Faber: Style Tips in hair and make-up based on individual face and eye shape as well as lifestyle preference.
Professional Tips
Research suggests when discussing the beauty of women, most women stated they found women with large eyes, high cheekbones, slim face and full lips extremely beautiful. Brunette women with brown eyes, oval face shape, arched eyebrows, small, slim nose, smooth and regular jawline with small distances between their upper lip and nose were considered to be incredibly gorgeous. Natalie Portman’s face fits the description criteria well, which is why she is considered as the most beautiful female celebrity.
Roz wielded her toolbox size suitcase of magic colours and brushes to transform what is termed a ‘square’ shaped face into the perceived ideal of the ‘heart’ shape.
Faber was joined by Simbiosis The Spa at Simbithi, Sarah Elizabeth Lingerie,Lix Alcholic Ice Cream, Story at Simpbithi, Scent of Nature and Dischem sponsored a prize basket too. The event was managed and coordinated by Faye Moor of Poetry Weddings and Events.
