Rocking it at the New Rockwood Theatre, Sibaya

Durban welcomes Rockwood Theatre to the Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Complex with their debut musical Knowing Me, Knowing You. Dinner and a Live Musical Show is again available to delight all audiences.

Launching on the site of what was Krakatoa Nightclub at the Sibaya Casino, Rockwood Theatre aims to offer patrons a plethora of live musical events throughout the year. The debut show “Knowing Me, Knowing You” is set to enthrall audience of all ages with a quickly changing wardrobe of glittering costumes, performers and musical numbers across decades.

Theatre owners Tom and Anne Muller are supported by theatre veteran Andrew Webster as managing maestro, bringing decades of experience to the newly opened venue in Durban.

The revamped venue offers a unique showstopping experience. The multi-tiered seating arrangements allow for smaller groups of close friends and family or larger arrangements for corporate hospitality options.

Understanding that not all budgets are created equal, Rockwood Theatre offers specialty shows at cut prices to allow a all to enjoy the theatre. Thursday shows offer Two-For-One Deals at just R 200 and Sunday show offers discounted adult prices and 50% Pensioner Rates.

Knowing Me, Knowing You brings a cross spectrum of music genres, from country folk ballads to soft rock duets. Audiences will thrill to the familiar tunes of their favorite duo’s and ache to the poignant solo start to a broken song-team.

Doors open 90 minutes before curtain up and a variety of dinner platter options are available on the menu to enjoy an easygoing meal with friends before the show starts.
