Salmon Breakfast….

The Beach Hut is a quaint restaurant in the Ballito Old Village serving Scottish breakfast, Banting Breakfast or a hearty Boer Breakfast!
Browse a Weekend Market
Ballito could quite possibly host a different market event every weekend! Litchi Orchard Market, Umhlali Village Market, Foodies Market at the Lifestyle Centre…check our most current event listings to know where to take your visitors.

Craft Beer Tasting and Microbrewery Tour
The Great Railroad Brewing Company is a microbrewery in Shakas Head crafting the dark, German Marzen lager; Bohemian Pilsner, a classic pilsner with a twist; German Weiss beer; Irish red ale; American pale ale and a Dark Pilsner. Dinner at your Local
Eat Local is more than just a steakhouse serving authentically prepared Argentinian style meat…Conceptualized by master restaurateur Hugo Palacio, it is both trendy and a fun family hangout! Great food, excellent vibe and perfectly positioned in Ballito Old Town offering a fresh sea breeze to cool a hot summer night in the Al Fresco style eatery.
Brave the Hole in the Wall
Thompsons Bay features the legendary “High Rock” which, according to legend, was the point at which King Shaka would force his Zulu warriors to jump in a show of courage. ‘Charlies Pool’ is the name of the Olympic length tidal pool built by one of the areas forefather’s Charles de Charmoy. Just beyond the tidal pool is the famous Hole in the Wall. This majestic geological feature offers daunting passage through the mountain to the secluded bay on the other side. High tide causes waves to crash across the narrow, slippery walkway making this a courageous trip for visitors.
Caution!! This area has been known to have FREAK waves which can quickly wash bystanders out to sea. Swimming in the tidal pool advised!
Late Weekend Lunch, Early Evening Cocktails
East Oasis Grill is a cool cocktail lounge restaurant offering the perfect blend of cosmopolitan class and relaxed beach holiday vibe! Snack on their delicately flavored Chicken Wings with your cocktail drink or stay for a full meal. The SMASHBURGER is a Ballito favorite!
Beach Picnic Catered with a Private Chef
How to WOW your guests…Lorets Kitchen is a private chef with a penchant for arranging organically prepared, delicious meals. Why not arrange to take a sundowner picnic on the warm sands at Salt Rock? Such a simple concept, but one with all the ingredients a visitor to Ballito will love!
