Action in the Business Park

With an audit of upgrade and maintenance work required for the Ballito business park completed mid-March, the UIP is now attending to the extensive list of projects to be completed.

Some of the work currently underway includes:

• Repairs to road curbing being carried out by KDM Civils department, who responded promptly to the UIP’s requests.
• Road crossing repairs by KDM
• Street light repairs by KDM – most lights are now working but another night audit will be conducted this week to follow up on any outstanding problems
• The pruning of trees throughout the park to ensure street lights and power lines are not obscured.

The UIP will keep members updated on the progress of all the projects planned.
