Waterfront Guest House is located in Carolina, a town located in the mountainous province of Mpumalanga.
The establishment is surrounded by a wonderful garden overlooking a dam. Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner can be included by prior arrangement. All meals are enjoyed in the dining room or al fresco in the garden. Secure parking or a lock up garage is available.
Activities in the area include golf, horse riding and visiting the various historical and heritage sites. Fantastic fly fishing spots are all around Carolina, including Dullstroom only 80km’s away. The Doornkop Fish and Wildlife Reserve are nearby where a 4×4 route is located. Enjoy a hike along the Suikerboschfontein hiking trail and see the many species of birds in their natural habitat. A popular attraction is the Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest in the world, where spectacular views can be seen as well as other cultural attractions.
Accommodation consists of 4 luxurious suites each with own private entrance and verandah overlooking the dam. All suites have their own en-suite bathroom. Each room has a ceiling fan, bar fridge, selected DSTV with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Electric blankets are provided during the colder months.
From Gauteng on the N4, turn right approximately10 km’s after ALZU Petroport. Travel for 40 km towards Carolina. Pass school on left. At the second street after the school, turn left at the signpost. Waterfront Guesthouse is the last house on the left hand side.
