Cavers Country Guest House is located just outside of Bedford, in the scenic mountainous region of the Eastern Cape.
The 5th generation family run guest house is nestled in the beautiful Cowie Valley. Built in 1850, the stone house boasts high ceilings and wooden floors. The large living area has an inviting fireplace. There is also a sitting room with an honesty bar and TV. Delectable country breakfasts are served in the dining room or on the patio.
Relax in the breathtaking gardens around the swimming pool. Visitors can also take advantage of other activities like fishing, horse riding, bird watching, hiking and tennis.
The guest house consists of en-suite bedrooms decorated in a contemporary style. All rooms have wifi and a television. There is also a 2-bedroomed cottage for a more private stay. Dinner, by prior arrangement, is a candlelit affair, and can be served on the patio or beneath the stars in the veld.
